Feathers can compliment almost any craft project - native crafts, painting, fly tying, jewelry and more. Whatever your imagination can come up with!
Turkey feathers and Duck feathers are often used for native crafts. Some are dyed to look like eagle feathers, though there are breeds of ducks and turkeys whose feathers mimic several raptors and need no dyeing.

Birds go through a molt cycle every year where they "drop" their feathers a little at a time. They also drop a feather here and there throughout the year.
