Zebra Finch Care and Messes?
Hi.
I’m wondering about Zebra Finches and care. Also i want to know about their messes and are they as messy as parakeets/cockatiels? I am trying to convince my parents to let me get a bird and that is one of their main concerns. Could you give me some care tips also, just general things. Thanks so much! I’m hoping that they are the right bird for me!
As long as you clean them regularly they’re fine. Get a finch cage, it’s a wooden box with a wire front, with nest box and perches inside. Beware though if you get a male and female, they breed like mice. We started with 2 pairs and in 2 years we had 18 lol
They’re also a bird that don’t like to be handled so if you want a bird to handle, they’re not for you.
