Conure mating question…?

I have a male sun and a female jenday…they just reached sexual maturity (both 1 yr 3 months) or maybe just coming into age, the male has been romancing(if you know what I mean) my female, but he’s awkward and I dont think he’s lining up perfectly…he’s trying really hard, but I think he’s missing slightly…my question is, has anyone had two conures come of age with each other and go through this experimental stage, and how long did they miss before actually getting it right?

clip the VENT feathers so when he rides he don’t have to fight with downy feathers etc practice makes perfect will they BREED ? and make fertile eggs i would hate to stress her making eggs? birds will be GAY so i guess eggs will be proof?
