No small parrots need their nails trimmed.?
I have an Indian ringneck has a variety of sizes of perches for climbing. He come inside at night and has 2 different sized perches for the night, but their nails are extremely long. Is this normal or need to be trimmed.
In addition to being clipped, also help to use sandpaper covered hanger. These help to keep nails short cuts amid (so you do not become long). If you do, be sure to leave some hangers without sandpaper, especially your favorite / cradle to sleep (usually the highest). I use sandpaper covering on racks to eat
