Teflon with parrots!?

I have a parrot, what are the best pans to cook with pots as i herd nonstick Teflon can kill them! my bird life in the kitchen, if you use nonstick How long before I have to return the bird to the kitchen? thanks!

Hello, kitchen pans not coated with Teflon kills birds, is when things are burned in Teflon pans. If non-stick coating is burned, it releases fumes that killed his bird in question minutes (sometimes less). So if you use them, you must be very careful. Put your bird outside or a room ventilated separately if to burn something. I just went to buy a new pan, making sure it is safe for my birds. There are two options: * stainless steel pans (those funds are the best quality copper) * The call "Green" pans. Find where it says PFOA free. These are great because they still will not stick, but does not emit gases that will harm the birds. And they are so heavy such as stainless steel. This is what I bought. Good luck!
