breeding parakeets outside? how?
i live in new york city. my uncle has a neighbor in Brooklyn that breeds parakeets out doors. they stay outside year long, never inside. he has a giant cage and in the winter he just puts up plastic around it ( there are no heaters). i can’t ask him how he does it( he doesn’t speak English). i want to know, how that is done, how is he getting them to survive during our winters. any websites would be usefull!!
its the neighbor to my uncle. the neighbor has been breeding these birds since I’m a kid ( I’m 32 now) and they look great, fat, healthy, flying around in this make shift cage
Well honestly to tell you the truth your uncle sounds crazy. Poor birds they must be freezing out there and he’s breeding them…that’s just mean. I don’t see how they’re surviving maybe they’re just use to it by now. I live in Texas but to hear about parakeets being outside in NY is just not right.
