Two Crimson-bellied Conures?
I am in the process of buying a Crimson-bellied Conure. There are two in the clutch and seriously thinking of getting both if they are of the same sex. I know that when they are young they will get along fine and with daily attention from me will also bond to me. My real question is when they are adults does anyone know if they will get along as well as when they are young? I really don’t want to separate in the future. Thanks!
That is a hard question to answer.
It depends on the birds just because they are raised together does not mean they will always get along. There will be fights just as any siblings if one is extremely dominant there could be trouble. If by chance they do well together they will most likely become aggressive to you. Two birds in a cage together means trouble for an owner that wants a pet. If you want a pet to interact with then just get one bird.
