How should a bird to a veterinarian during the winter if not have a car?
I live in New York City and soon will be getting a cheek Conure Green and ill have to take my parrot back to the vet for a regular check up, now summer is coming but what if its cold? I live in the city of New York and to take the metro, what I can get my bird wouldnt freeze to death? Oh and one more question I've been doing this everywhere! nobody has an answer that I worried about my bird will die from riding the subway, New Yorkers here if you know how noisy and polluted the meter can be also construction is from time to time, so will travel on the subway to kill my bird, not immediately, but eventually get sick .. you know .. because if so .. i get to send mobile phone and have it search for avian veterinarians in Brooklyn instead of Manhattan.
1) take a cab 2) try to find a ride can change a dog or a cat box, one of those plastic on the front door. Add a peg or two and some small food cups water. Line to blankets inside. make sure you do not care what happens with the blankets. get and old sleeping bag and make a cover for the box. Make sure air can get and out of the cage and should be just fine.
