My son has to make a parrot for schools in the rainforest of the project. Help! Links to useful sites or something?
School project jungle my son has to make a parrot to do so, how is the best way to make one, plasterboard, what? I find nothing in the network yet … Help?
In many interesting ways to make a parrot … could go the route of paper mache .. take a long balloon, strips of newsprint, Elmers glue and water. (Clothing disposable containers) reaaaaaaally wood glue works well! Media mix and half of the tail and water ….( should be a sticky consistency thick liquidy toothpaste … but not with milk or ..) soaking the strips and cover the globe with them in a cross .. . dry leaves .. repeat a few times. have a toilet paper roll and cut and paste in a peak .. tape in a small balloon .. repeat the process of paper mache … when the paint dries much .. them … paper mache glue them together or together … Add craft feathers to the tail and head. pipe cleaners for legs. you could make a collage-tion by toucan fruit loops boxes. you could having a baby with a dress .. hood (like a snow suit purchased at a Goodwill store) and other things with paper and tail feathers all over the news … adds a ball of some kind for the face and a beak. … or make a rag doll parrot .. have some old clothes of different colored shirts and rip it up! sewing a way parrot oil and fill it with rags. then take some of the rippings and tie to make colorful feathers. note that all these processes require recycling is good for the environment environment … Have fun!
