How much do parakeets usually sell for?
In the store the bird itself sells for about $10-15. From a breeder they are MUCH cheaper, closer to $5, maybe $10 if it’s a newer mutation. For the birds with cage, I wouldn’t expect to get more than roughly half of what you paid for the cage. Budgies are everywhere and constantly re-homed when someone gets tired of them, the resale price is not very high.
