My parakeet yells at me when I am talking to someone else.Ive only had him 2 days is that a good sign?
I just want to know if that means he is starting to warm up to me.

Lucky for you it only took 2 days! Yes, your little Parakeet has successfully chosen you as its’ master and mate. And if anyone dare try to take the attention from him, they are history!
Savor the moment. Birds are very loyal. If you only have one bird, it will bond with one person, in this case being you. If you are uncomfortable with this “role” you can purchase another Parakeet to keep him company, and he will most likely bond with that other bird (especially a female). But, you will want to do that soon, before he bonds any further with you.
I have a 12 year old Amazon Orange Winged parrot. He is so affectionate and so attached to me. He gets very jealous if he hears another voice in the house…sometimes even a man’s voice on the radio! But I don’t mind. He’s a great parrot and a wonderful company for me.
